I just heard The Loveliest Time for the first time ever and its an album jam packed of gorgeous songs. 

Why didn't she give these records away instead of hogging them to herself when no one heard them. It's a CRIME!

She'd make an amazing songwriter/producer for bigger artists or older artists who want a fresh comeback.

 

But she has a big enough core fanbase to stay releasing and promoting it as herself. Her albums don't sell much but they sell enough (and reveiw well enough) for her to remain relevant and signed.

 

Still... I hope she switches it up a bit more for her next album. Her latest sounds like Dedicated but perfected.

It's not her fault her music doesn't sell. Let her small number of listeners be happy.

I don't think they would do any better in anyone else's hands. She got her niche audience that likes that type of light, care-free pop that worships her. She's doing fine. I don't think any of those songs would be smash hits in Katy's or Kesha's hands
