Does anyone else refuse to take DNA tests?

Featured Replies

Those tests like 23andMe where they tell you what’s your ethnicity, and any genetic info? I just cannot fathom why I want to give a company my genetic information and not know if my information is being sold or could be used against me for employment. Like I get it. It’s cool’s to see where your ancestry is from. But the cons are just too much.

I pleaded with my siblings not to use them years back but they did anyway. The wild thing is that one of them lived next to the founder of the company and must have known that they sell at a loss to farm data. :rip:

4 million profiles' data hacked/leaked

Well, to begin with, those tests are just estimations, they're not precise facts and their results are based mostly in how much data from other users they have. So yeah, they're not even accurate and only work as entertainment :dies:

I would love to do this, but I can't bring myself to ever since I learned these companies keep all of that on file. There's no telling what they're doing with that information, so it's not something I feel comfortable doing.

I never did one ... all I know i've only got Irish, British and aussie blood. :toofunny2:

exactly like my fave :gaycat5:

No!!! I don't even give my government first name out until the 3rd date. Why would I give my DNA to the government??

Dead @ important people like me worried about being under surveillance by the CIA and FBI and while others on here only get monitored by store security guards and courtroom hallway monitors. Doing 2 day bids for stealing from Macys?? Couldn't be me!!

"Privacy" does not exist.

Everyone gets SO serious about it like we're not all gonna disappear one day.
