Doja, b/c I’ve always felt she understood how to mix Rap and Pop in a more authentic way, especially for full-length projects.  

 

But Doja doesn’t have a Pinkprint yet.  
 

And clearly her rapping not as good as Nicki’s.  But Nicki’s singing not as good as Dojas.    Soooooo…

 

They both win, but for different reasons, imo.

Doja’s albums feel like albums

 

Nicki’s feel like playlists

 

but I must say Nicki has higher highs, and stuff like Chun Li that go way too HARD and some Legendary stuff like Beez in The Trap that slap in a different way to what Doja does

I love Nicki.  She was my girl before Doja even existed.  
 

But idk about all that…

 

Dojas Pop just seems so effortless.  And tbh, having a better singing voice 100% works in Dojas favor here. 

 

Doja’s more put together, Nicki tracks are stronger.

Doja disses every album of hers after it’s released.  lol.  
 

And at least she has some level of self awareness + wants to improve her craft.   I’d rather her be critical of her work vs. assuming everything she does is great.  That’s how careers become stagnant and stale.  

none of Doja's albums are better than Nicki's.

Doja's LP's might have more replay value since they borderline on pop and hip-hop

but Nicki's has more lyrical content and the punchlines are effortless and endless 

 

 

Nicki is a better lyricist and rapper, but Doja has already shown herself to be more experimental and able to put together musically, and thematically cohesive collections. Doja even delivers better rap choruses because she just has a stronger grip on hooks and melodies. 

 

Does Nicki really have a better song than Rules? 

Doja Lamar’s albums are fun but a little sloppy I fear

hmm this is harder to answer than I thought. 

 

but with the way Doja's Scarlet is shaping up and how underwhelming Nicki Minaj has been since... 2019? aside from a song or two. my instinct is to go with Doja Cat.

Hot Pink is better than any album by the self proclaimed “queen of rap”

the Nicki hate is strong with this one because I think she wins this match up and I love both of these girls 

 

Pink Friday is miles better than Amala 

Hot Pink & Roman Reloaded are the only two who are almost equal with each other, but RR has more iconic songs (and Hot Pink's lows are lower)

The Pinkprint clears Planet Her without a doubt. 

 

edit : lowkey forgot RR has the abomination known as Sex In The Lounge, but it has other classics to compensate
