please be serious...

EDIT: I think I came off a little aggresive, but it's obvious SOS is bigger and anyone saying otherwise is just delusional

This is actually hard.

Planet Her has the bigger peak due to its pop influence but SOS will ultimately be the bigger project + has stronger longevity.

I actually think SOS is the biggest album by a black female artist in....ages. It is bigger than Planet Her, Invasion of Privacy, Anti, Lemonade, etc

The one that had 5 top 10s and 4(?) #1s on Pop radio. Planet Her.

There's no right or wrong answer, it's all about preference and perspective.

Is this because of quality of work or because SZA has the urban audience on lock where Doja doesn't really have a clear fanbase? No shade just curious.

I’m talking about POP radio, easily the biggest radio format. The top 10s on Urban/Rhythmic are cute, but she was able to get top 10 OVERALL radio with several singles from PH because of the heavy pop airplay. SOS’s singles aren’t matching that right now.

I mean KB is literally the #1 song of the year so far on BB year end charts (it might have dropped to #2 now behind Morgan Wallen) which as far as I’m aware counts everything…

OK, 1 song from the album. Isn’t Kiss Me More the most streamed female collab and NTK the most streamed female rap solo song of all-time?

My favs :chick3:

SOS is bigger or will eventually surpass PH.

and Kill Bill is still bigger than these songs and the album washes Planet Her, both critically and commercially... so?

Okay but even with those hits, SOS still washes Planet Her on global album charts. It did well even in Asia which is a hard market to break in as a black female artist, let alone with R&B leaning music. It is quite literally performing better than any black female artist album WW since IASF I'd say.

Having more hits =/= bigger album. SOS is bigger even in the US despite all those Pop radio #1s.

SOS is a bigger album but PH is a close #2. PH has the benefit of more singles pushed (unless u count the pre-SOS singles that were added like Good Days & Hit Different) but when it's all said and done SOS will be the biggest black female album since Lemonade.

Planet Her will outsell/outstream in the end because its singles will have more longevity in the years to come. Bookmark me.

Lol who cares about pop radio if the album literally spent TEN weeks at No. One, 25 weeks in the top 5, and still in the top 10 against Taylor, those two Morgan albums, etc.

But yes, Planet Her doing great on a radio format automatically means its bigger :1stplace:

Who cares? The singles have reached a WAY larger audience by receiving massive airplay than the actual people who bought/streamed the album those weeks. EVERYONE knows the new classics Woman, Kiss Me More, Need to Know, etc…

SOS by the critically acclaimed and fan loving artist SZA :clap3:

No but seriously their both wildly successful albums so good for both

I voted for PH because I remembered it having more hits, but that was before I remembered that SOS was #1 for 10 weeks :deadbanana:I'm so dumb sometimes

Planet Her isn’t even outselling CTRL:

CTRL: #54

Planet Her: #102 :rip:

I guess those singles aren’t doing much for that longevity.

OT: SOS is the biggest album by a black female artist in at least a decade (if not more). Bigger singles, bigger tour, and much more acclaimed as well.
