Unsupportive friend. Big deal or no?
I agree with you 100%. You're really the only person on here who analyze a situation without bias. The only piece I would truly add is communication. Did you communicate? Sometimes people get used to friends playing a "role". It's not right but it's common - the average human is underappreciated and it's often because of lack of communication. We expect our supportive friends to be supportive even if we can't, we expect our cheery friend to be cheery and so we often end up on autopilot. If you communicated and you're not being supported, then as Juanny said - let it naturally fade away. You'll make room for more amazing friends.

How do I report someone for harassment? I down voted someone's post and they went to my old very old post and downvoted them.

Why do people say to listen to sad songs when you are sad?
It's top 3 one of the most beautiful emotions. It's a guide to contentment, joy or happiness but "sadly" people often see it as if something is wrong. My comment was more for people who sit in sadness and make it apart of their identity vs individuals who follow the healing process. Sadness, if prolonged, makes us miss out on the beauty of life. You can't be sad and present because sadness is taking the past into the present which reduces the likelihood of anyone feeling fulfilled. You may not understand this piece and that's okay. If something happens I were to be sad, continuously listening to sad songs would make it worse and create "light trauma" - now every time you hear a specific song you have a flash back of emotions to when you were sad. Songs, places and meals capture emotions so normally when you hear a song or visit a place, you often feel a specific way. If someone is sad, they shouldn't shame it or run, they should understand it and learn - not be a victim.

Why do people say to listen to sad songs when you are sad?
It's sad tbh - but people feel a sense of control in sadness and a sense of fear in happiness. listening to sad music confirms the feeling and create a sense of "relatability". Most people would benefit from saying: what am I sad about and how can I become happy? A simple question like that puts you a path to swift recovery.

How did Rihanna manage to make herself standout in a world ruled by Beyoncé?
Her proximity to Jay-Z lessen the talent/music comparisons for Rihanna even though it sparked cheating rumors. The proximity to Jay ultimately helped since they were clearing out any potential beyonce threat and since she was family, she was safe. The fact that people marketed Rihanna as the opposite of Beyonce helped her career tremendously; Therefore, Beyonce influenced her success in-directly. Everyone before wanted to be the next Beyonce but Rihanna wanted to be Rihanna. Anyone who wanted to be like Beyonce got eliminated. Similarly, anyone who want to be like Rihanna got eliminated Rita, Tinashe, Zara etc. Anyone who tries to be like someone already successful traditionally gets eliminated.

Why is America such a deadly place?
Thank you. People assuming it's because of "Guns", yes Guns are bad and regulation of them would help but it would also further expose the poor social welfare state which is the root issue.

“Taylor doesn’t bring anything new to the table”. But do most popstars bring?
It goes back to the type of fan demographic - some fans, mostly the fans I alluded to, struggle to understand or accept that success doesn't always have to be perfect. Everyone knows Taylor isn't a vocalist or the best performer, but she leans into her strengths which is storytelling and connecting with fans. Most musicians keep an air of mystery but Taylor and Rihanna are the only two who seem like family and fans resonate with that. Even Olivia opening the door to her life during drivers license helped fan see her and create relatability. The reality is, anyone can become famous but what the person does with that fame determines their career and success. Who else but Taylor is doing egg clues or whatever that's called and engaging with fans in different ways? Before any assumes I am a fan, Delicate is the only song by her I listen to.

H100: Morgan #1 (x16), Dua #7, SZA #10
The level of investment and interest are very different. Female and conservative fan's expectations of artists are relatively close. Not saying both are the same but just like how female fans want to control their artist's behavior, conservatives fans want to keep their artists "right" so anything left would be rejected... so the beer situation after bud-light is expected.

You're making a lot of assumptions - I stated an observation. I didn't say one was better than the other. I said I hope hypercritical people are nice to themself as it's crazy to hold people to a standard of perfection. 1. People have different level of interest and investment in an artist. There are also people who don't care about people's personal life and behavior - it doesn't mean they lack standard. There's a war going on and people who are dying from poverty and I don't see you doing anything about it - does it mean you lack morality and only care about musicians? No, it simply means it's something you may just be unaware of. 2. It's a bold assumption to say they're making the world a worst place. How exactly do you plan to help? 3. I never said it's a good thing, I highlighted the difference. I personal believe people should focus on what makes them happy. It's not just about the artist learning and growing, it's also important for people like you and I to learn and grow. Arguing about right and wrong instead of taking action to drive change is pointless.

You're a 100% entitled to your opinion. I personally don't endorse Travis. But, I am curious, in what ways does his fans supporting him directly impact your life? No shade, but if you look at the larger picture - people who support him must be aware that going to his concerts or endorsing him could result in fatality. Every time we make a post about Travis on the web his marketability goes up - which increases how much he makes from his label as well as sponsors. When it comes to people or musicians we don't support, it's best not to comment on them at all. Most people are smart enough to make their own decisions and it's not our responsibility to fix the world and shame people. Our limited time on earth would be best spent focusing on things that make us truly happy, not pushing against things we don't support. Cheers and happy Sunday!

Male fans are very different from female fans. Males fan primarily care about the art and female fans care about their life/actions. Female fans as you can see from ATRL operate like they own the artist and wants to control who they date, where they eat, when and how they release, which cities they live in and what they name their child. Whereas male fans just want the art and move on with life. It goes to show how people are hypercritical of women in general. Travis and Morgan are two solid examples, as well as Kanye's reemergence and Eminem's legacy. I just hope the fans who are hypercritical of their faves aren't hypercritical of themself. Life is for living, learning and growing.

Florida's school wars spread: Arkansas AP African-American History accreditation gone
Only thing Arkansas has going for it is the diamond crater park where you can find diamonds and retire, outside of that people should stop being surprised by backward states doing backward things.

Britney Spears is considering sitting down for a tell-all interview with Oprah
+1. It all tracks since she's going to release a book. It makes sense for her to start telling her story. Oprah would be ideal.

Youtube: Most streamed MPGs of last 12 months
Are y'all really arguing about someone who is active and someone who has been inactive? There's is no way in this universe to compare Rihanna and Taylor. Taylor Swift literally loves music and Rihanna kinda likes music which automatically invalidates any comparison.
