XG - 'THE CORE - 核'
im kinda in shock that gala sounds like the only big song on the album. they should've gone HARD on this. that midtempo sugary r&b/pop/trap crossover is played out.

Jessie J - 'Don't Tease Me With A Good Time'
I just read that jesse boykins III produced most of the album. let me check it real quick.

Summer Walker - 'Finally Over It'
I love her discography to death, but sadly I'm not feeling this one. It sounds a bit random compared to her previous projects (and I'm including the EPs as well). There are so many forgettable tracks and so little of the usual passion and sultriness in her writing and production. Aside from a few highlights, I don't see myself replaying it.

Summer Walker - 'Finally Over It'
the different tracklist is a common thing nowadays but yes I will be mad if the exclusive tracks are any better than the standard ones. lol
-
FKA twigs - 'EUSEXUA Afterglow'
I get her vision for eusexua, but it didn't click with me. I have a sense that afterglow will bring more of the melissa flavor and I'm very excited.

Summer Walker - 'Finally Over It'
whaaat? where?
-
Summer Walker - 'Finally Over It'
people did like it? I thought the overall reception was pretty lukewarm. lol I think it's a decent throwback song, but I'm sure the album has superior material. "ex" was mid af and yet the album delivered.

Doja Cat's "Vie" departs the Billboard 200 after 5 weeks
yes. there's a few highlights, but the overall result is very mid. I blame jack antonoff limited vision tbh. the right lineup could take it to a way more fresh and experimental 80s pattern.

Mariah Carey - 'Here For It All'
help. I misread "daniel moore II".
-
Mariah Carey - 'Here For It All'
the tracklist looks sooo promising. I love to see anderson .paak, d'mile and bongo all over it. it's shaping up to be a consistent record packed with some luscious r&b midtempo tracks.
-
aespa - 'Rich Man'
dirty work is amazing. I hope the new EP keeps that same energy.
-
Teyana Taylor - 'Escape Room'
the interludes are way too long. cmoooon… I get the vision, for a first listening is cool, but she should've kept it for the visuals. that aside, the album is REALLY good. lol love the production, the samples. so sexy, solid and sincere. no fillers. way better than "the album" tbqh.

Mariah Carey - 'Here For It All'
not when GTFO is the best one here.
-
Ciara - 'CiCi'
I swear to god… same. my last tiny bit of hope is that the new tracks (including the bonus tracks she will release on monday) are actually good enough to replace these kidz bop…
-
Ciara - 'CiCi'
a mess and a half. to think her discography was pretty much flawless until jackie.
-
BLACKPINK - "JUMP"
they went haaaard.
-
Ciara - 'CiCi'
I read the description on her ig post and got so excited only to get to be disappointed right after with the tracklist. this is not the best material you could release with 5 years of intense work, specially when 90% of the album was already released. I refuse. this is a playlist of random lukewarm droplets and a few good songs (I really like how I roll, BRB, low key). we want a BANGER of a body of work. it has been overdue!
-
Megan Thee Stallion - 'MEGAN: ACT II'
this. I love the reference. I hope it's not a orquideas pt II case with just a few bonus tracks tho. lol
-
Ciara x Busta Rhymes - "Wassup"
things started to go wrong when they doubted the fantasy ride era potential tbqh. I feel like the double album concept would establish her in a different creative lane.
-
Tyla - "Push 2 Start"
she ATE the performance, but I'm not surprised at this point. A STAR.
-
What is M.I.A.' best album and best song ?
Album: KALA Song: Sunshowers

Tyla announces "TYLA (Deluxe)" out 10/11!
I'm mad she didn't include disco, but still excited for the new tracks.
-
Doechii - "Wait (Live Park Performance)"
one of the highlights from the mixtape. great performance.
-
Victoria Monét - 'Jaguar II (Deluxe)'
the first installment remains the best part of the project. such an instant classic. jaguar II was able to keep the momentum, but I didn't LOVE it entirely so the deluxe brought some fresh energy which is cute. upon the first listen, 1990s and the greatest are my favorites. the outro was definitely not necessary tho. lol I'm ready for a new era with a few more twists and unexpectations. come on now, monét!
-
Shakira - 'She Wolf (Expanded Edition)'
it's probably my favorite from her. HEAVY rotation when it came out. pharrell's quirky productions matched shak's bombshell energy perfectly.
