Are you religious?

Featured Replies

Not at all, but I am spiritual—still being of and strong in the Christian faith. I don't follow any actual religion, though I grew up in the Baptist church. I was able to realize how flawed it was when I was younger.

I was raised in a Catholic family, but we have never been very religious. I believe in God, in angels, and I pray every day. I recently tried to read the bible, but it made me uncomfortable. I know what is right and what is wrong according to what my heart tells me.

Yes I was born raised and still am a Christian

Spoiler

And I really hate when people call me dumb for my beliefs. Mind your business

Staunch atheist… have been since I was 14.

Watching The Atheist experience really did it for me.

I was a hardcore Christian but not anymore. I left that cult last year and couldn't be happier than ever.

Nope

The way these have dislikes because y’all can’t stand the fact that some of us don’t want anything to do with your magic sky man. Can’t ask for tolerance of religion and then get mad when someone doesn’t believe in it :rip:

Grew up Christian, but NOPE. I do not identify as religious whatsoever....

I am spiritual to an extent, but I think organized religion is one of the worst things that ever happened to humanity

I was raised Catholic and used to go to church up until my early 20s. Throughout my 20s I was agnostic due to my rebel phase and felt like religion contradicted my personal beliefs. I’m now a believer again and couldn’t be happier.

I was raised Catholic, I used to go to church (my parents used to force me to) and everything but not anymore. I'm not saying I don't believe in God and became a atheist, religion just has no place in my life.

Also I admit that when I feel hopeless, I pray at night because it brings me comfort, even though I obviously know no one will hear me and it won't magically solve my problems, but it helps with stress and calms my nerves.

Because the truth hurts

I stopped believing in religion in 2019, the worst year of my life.

not really but i do have faith.

i'm also Filipino so you can't NOT be culturally Catholic. it's everywhere you can't escape it :michael:

Not anymore, but my family is. When I was little they sent me to a super religious school and it was WRETCHED. They'd spend all day trying to fill your head with nonsense, and punish you if you asked too many questions. It was a blessing in disguise when I got expelled :rip:

Grew up Catholic, but have been agnostic since I was a teenager.
