Olivia Rodrigo - 'GUTS'

Quote

“For me, this album is about growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life,” says Rodrigo. “I feel like I grew 10 years between the ages of 18 and 20—it was such an intense period of awkwardness and change. I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully the album reflects that.”

A progression from SOUR indeed :clap3:relatability will be the driving force again for its marketability

I am glad I am not alone and seeing Ajay think this is mega immature/boring mostly is so me. It has its moments but people pretending this is some artistic masterpiece and it's metacritic score wasn't

  • More Deja Vus please

Idk about the title but I love the cover + I like the way it looks a more mature and sexy version of Sour :duca:

i'm glad shes not conforming to the whole trend of doing a 180 for every new album, but rather continuing the story. i am so excited

Idk it’s giving sophomore slump

Same aesthetic as SOUR, no growth

Well here's our confirmation as to why the Grammys extended their deadline... :bam:

imagine thinking that the Grammys changed their schedule just to accommodate a newbie lol. :dies:

It's like the reverse Meghan Trainor Sophomore release.

Are you guys BLIND or something?!?

Its a COMPLETELY different vibe than Sour.

She is fierce and sexy, with her boobs out and a finger in her mouth + purple is darker for a reason.

ISTG LMAOO shes giving sultry. shes giving becoming a woman and leaving ur teenage years behind. SOUR was all abt being a teenager at its core

Me thinks this will do like 400K first week. She's got the hype

It’s giving sour, except sour was a great cover, this is not. Nice title though. are we expecting it to be punk or more alternative like deja god?

Harry styles did 500k right? I have a feeling Olivia will surpass it

And based on that snippet from Vampire I'm expecting the album to be a lot more darker, moodier and have more bangers than Sour did :jonny5:

The cover and title are giving SOUR 2.0 so it’ll be interesting to see if the music is a new direction for her or not

i love the picture. not a fan of her keeping the purple scheme tho cause i think this would really pop off with a different color and would also get to avoid the comparisons with the sour aesthetics.
