idk about "classic" and what the definition and requirements for that title are. people on this forum are obsessed with daily streams 

 

but "Say So" is one of the quintessential songs from the year-long month of March 2020. that early pandemic "oh we'll just quarantine for two weeks, it'll blow over" and "let's make whipped coffee and sourdough bread" season. Doja's various performances for the song were shared over and over again over the following year, and still do get shared around awards season.

 

I'd say it's pretty well-known and remembered, more than any other "pandemic hits" from virtually unknown musicians.

As big as it was I feel like the Planet Her singles overshadowed it and pretty much left it in 2020.

I love this song. Don't forget that it was Doja's breakout hit. She wouldn't be mainstream right now if Say So didn't blow up.

I think Kiss Me More overtook it and that one will be remembered in the long run (along with Woman) but this was a cute breakthrough moment during the quarantine that this generation will probably remember
