MIDnights. Lover is messy as all hell, but still has a considerable number of standout deep cuts. The highs are very high. On the other hand, most of MIDnights is weak melodically and a gigantic step down lyrically. It's a pop album that lacks any actual pop.

The aptly named, Loser, is the winner of this one.

Girl, Midnights is perfect.

loser

godputation is the best

Lover is too inconsistent.  Very high highs but super low lows

MIDnights.

Lover but I like all of them

Hot take:

Rep > Lover > 1989 > Mid

(L)over produced

lover and reputation are on the same level of bad

the other two are great

1. 1989

2. Midnights

3. reputation

4. Lover

Will reevaluate the top 3 when the TVs drop.

None of them are in her overall top 5, though.

reputation sorry

Lover has It's Nice To Have A Hit, Lover, GODlight, The Archer, Miss Americana,  Afterglow... the rest is trash tho ngl!

Lover has too many duds....amazing highs though.

it’s 19KATY9

I have to go with Midnights.

It has more songs I skip vs total songs on the album.

1989 > Lover > Reputation > Midnights

although Midnights has grown on me a lot

Loser and Midnights both kinda suck

1989 > Lover > Midnights > Reputation

it’s reputation because at least midnights is cohesive and sounds like an album and lover has afterglow and cruel summer which just those 2 songs end everything on reputation. and 1989 is perfection so obv not that one

1. rep

2. 1989

3. lover

4. MIDnights

Haven’t listened to Midnights but reputation > Lover > 1989

1989 is a pop bible, both reputa and Midnights took its time but I get them now. And then there's Lover
