For example Miley Cyrus, she’s extremely talented. But most of her albums range from mediocre to straight-up terrible (in my opinion). Her only good album was Plastic Hearts, but it appears to be just a fluke.

Which other artists can you think of?

Gaga’s standout songs are honestly some of the greatest in human history, but her discography as a whole is pretty generic and disappointing.

Gaga minus ASIB

Christina Aguilera. I love her voice, and she clearly has a lot of artistic potential, but her discography as a whole is kinda just there outside of a few undeniable standout tracks.

Christina Aguilera is literally the perfect example of this. Mega talented woman yet her albums are soooo bloated with barely 2-3 strong standouts.

I agree with Miley too. Plastic Hearts is the only album that lived up to her talents. And she still could do much better.

Caroline Polachek

Christina, Demi, and Gwen (tbf Gwen, has her moments, but her albums are never gold star).

Pink is someone with incredible talent but her albums are so similar. She's really in a comfort zone and i hate it   Wish she would experiment more

out of all the singers you could’ve said… ms. Polachek???  her music is so well crafted!

OT: several of my faves come to mind tbh. i think Gár suffers from this the most. i still love her discography but i think that’s bc i’m biased, and partially because of the sentimental value it holds

OMG totally. For someone with 20+ years in the industry she only has a handful of memorable songs, and they are clustered on a few albums.

Bey is so talented but then she makes those songs  Like why???

Jennifer Hudson

Wendy Moten

Pink, Kat Deluna
