With All My Life smashing out the gate and rising on every platform, Dr Luke has secured his annual hit with rap sensations Lil Durk and J. Cole, already being earmarked as a potential Grammy winner across the rap categories.

Following Super Freaky Girl, Big Energy and Planet Her, has he earned back his spot as one of music's top and in demand producers by shifting from big pop to melodic rap? Or is it just a case of fresh and catchy melodies always winning? Let's discuss his (unfortunate?) comeback after fading in the late 10s

When I heard the chorus, for a quick second, I thought they were singing One Last Time :skull:

It really does :chick1:

No matter how much the internet tries to cancel this man he keeps winning. I think it’s time to move on and accept that artists won’t stop working with him.

99.9% of people don't know who produces a Song so It's also predictable.

Only the industry could end him, not the people.

He's "winning" when it comes to rap hits because the rap genre promotes rape culture, violence, etc and its pretty normalized.

GP doesn't care who produced a song, they just listen to whatever they like. I'm sure not even 10% of music consumers know who Dr Luke is.

 No <3

Lottery is the best one listed but All My Life is actually pretty good compared to some other recent rap hits.

Even tho people say he’s unoriginal and recycles everything (somewhat true), It’s crazy how well he’s able to adapt to whatever genre is most popular. He produced some of the biggest songs from the pop rock era, electro pop era and now he’s becoming a main hip hop producer :deadbanana4:.

Is there going to be thread everytime this man gets a hit, sadly he's going nowhere time to move on

Happy for Jcole

i think this song sucks but J is talented so we will be streaming on mute

Objectively he’s an amazing producer so it’s not shocking artists still take up his hits.

This. A testament to his objective talent as a music producer. Bravo :clap3:

People are ok with a lot until it happens to them or their sister or their mother.. aww

I'd be impressed if this song sounded remotely complex or unique from a production standpoint!
