BuzzFeed News is shutting down

Featured Replies

that's unfortunate for all of the employees but their news articles are terrible. there was so much clickbait and selectively chosen facts to fit their narrative.

that's fortunate. They had some awful investigative reporting.

Being associated with a brand that's known for clickbait and garbage personality quizzes would be part of why their public perception was, frankly, a joke. Can't say their full buy-in to Russiagate really helped them either.

Buzzfeed buzzards and TMZ crows
What can I say that you don't already know?

This is only the news station not the actual buzzfeed website/brand. So the site will focus more on entertainment and fun stories like quizzes, movies, tv shows, cooking, celebrities, lifestyles etc.

I am not surprised buzzfeed news was never going to be taking seriously.
