Yeah, I'm expecting huge numbers if she releases in the coming months, actually. Her absence was truly felt by all of us. 

I haven’t felt a sense that she’s missing tbh. No shade, I just don’t see people or myself wondering “where is she?”. For some reason, she still seems very present in music even though she’s only had that quick single with The Weeknd. But she’ll obviously get some streaming smashes, but I don’t see a massive “comeback” with huge hype coming cuz it doesn’t seem like there’s some big hole without her

i don't think it'll be a mega smash but it'll probably be bigger than Positions... I think she knows the fans weren't super into the album so hopefully she switches it up more

 

she's extremely invested in Wicked/the whole Glinda role, so hopefully that inspires an incorporation of some adult contemporary sounds and a strong ballad but the reception of Wicked will probably determine how the album goes/when it comes out

Define anticipated. Will it get a #1 single? Yes, anyone can get that nowadays. But it won’t be as successful as her stans are expecting. It’s almost like everyone has forgotten the insane projections that were made for Positions. “This is the follow up to her peak era, it is going to SMASH”. There was talk of it doing +500K units… only to not even hit 200K  And Ari’s relevance has decreased since then.

Yes, but I want her to do something different. Something unexpected.

- She hadn't done any promo 

- The album was released during election week 

- The album was leaked a week before its release day 

- No pre orders 

- No vinyl release 

she will smash if she serves quality 

 

I hope we see a direction shift a la dangerous woman -> sweetener, that was really a career altering moment 

it’ll have hype amongst the gays but it won’t translate to actual sales. it’s always the same with her.

She casually picked up a 7th #1 for DFY  She's anticipated, regardless of what some faceless gays on a music site want to say. She's still the second biggest girl on streaming in her downtime

Mind you shes only really slowing down on streaming because she refuses to release more singles and does **** ass promo her own fault really Taylor deserves that #1 spot more than anything.

 

I hope she finds the drive to start pushing her work more because I feel like shes historically the kind of artist thats still very promo sensitive.

Yeah, she’s got a few more smash eras left in her. Her next era will be her anti 

Yes, I think we all miss her. She’ll do numbers initially for sure; her big issue will be longevity.

I won't be bigger than TUN her peak, but it has a chance to outsell Positions
