I didn't listen to Midnight so I can't rank the albums but based on first and second singles Miley wins.

Both mid but Tay has the better and album and song. The ESV album cover though >>>>

album: miley

lead: taylor

cover: miley

ESV for the cover, Midnights for the music (not that Midnights is anything exceptional but ESV is even more hit or miss than Midnights  )

Oop I could’ve just quoted this you took the words right out of my mouth

I stan Taylor but

album: ESV

lead: M

cover: ESV

Midnights is more stable but does not have as much highs or fun as ESV. Theyre equally conceptual. Having said that Taylor doesnt have ANY lows on midnights so it is VERY close, shes more level headed and honestly a nice progression from Folklore back into pop. I like the lyrics and mellow production A LOT. Anti Hero is so good!! I just am the raw breed that enjoys ESV despite its flaws, while Midnights I did not necessarily love the most artistically out of Taylors projects (thatd be Folklore or Evermore)

I knew this was coming

Theyre actually both pop renaissance albums from artists who oreviously explored their true sound and calling (folk pop and glam rock respectively)

I was just listening to Noah Cyrus album like an hour ago and remembered that Miley has a new album out.

I listened to it a lot the weekend it came out.

I skipped through it and didn't enjoy a lot of the album. Jaded is very good though.

Midnights is very bland, cheap and uninspired when it comes to production but Taylors songwriting saves most of the songs.

I like River and Headstand better than anything on Midnights but Midnights is a better listen all the way through. Miley is not capable of delivering a truly cohesive album and creating a world sonically

Midnights for album and lead. ESV cover>>>

ESV for all.

Flowers: The Album is better in all ways I fear

Taylor has a better lead single. But Midnights only has two good songs (Midnight Rain, Anti-Hero). Endless Summer Vacation is a significantly better album and you don’t have to skip 10 tracks to listen to it.

Better album: ESV on first listen. I didn't feel Midnight until the 3rd play and overall in grew on me but I haven't go back to it since November I think.

Better cover: ESV clear with ease.

Better lead: Anti-Hero wins by a small margin.

Endless Summer Vacation has a great album cover! And although Midnights is not my favorite Taylor album, it far exceeds Endless Summer Vacation.

Neither are great but ESV is actually bad at times while Midnights is just boring
