Terrible marketing and promo, no payola etc., plus the album leaked half a year before its release. Vocally and musically she's great, her stuff is basically gay catnip.

 

Ultimately she'll be fine as long as she keeps doing collabs to fund her own music. 

theres no hits on the album and those type of basic watered down house albums might be trendy with critics and artist's core bases but they are at risk of flopping with actual GP. She thrives off singles, and there was none there.

Ghost and In the Dark weren't released as singles

She needs to being back the Ava hair

Her sampling classic songs shtick got old and the GP got tired. 

On a serious note : I think she would make a good songwriter / a good A&R .. kinda like Cathy Dennis or Linda Perry who were singers before moving on to writing songs and making mad money off that

I don’t think Million Dollar Baby was the right single choice. Should’ve been Ghost or Sleepwalker. Also, would it kill her to slap a feature on one of these to secure a hit? Do any promo at all?
