I think the problem is Ava is faceless and seems too private. I know celebrity mental health is important but people need someone they can relate too and Ava seems very distant from the public eye and she also never seems to show up anywhere in award shows or special events. That’s what is missing. I really don’t understand how she expects to smash if nobody sees her or knows who she is.

She’s said in interviews she hates being a celebrity so you’re right.. it’s sad. She doesn’t care for putting in the work

She had the potential to be the new Gaga but lacked the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent.

 

Now she should focus on catering to the fans she does have i.e. the dance-pop loving gays. They will support her if she keeps with that sound.

Her team doesn't realize she is simply not a pop star. She has good vocals for radio hits and they should focus on that, instead of trying to make her happen, because quite frankly - no one cares about Ava Max.

The lead single was released in March 2022 and announced as the lead single, 7 months before release.

The album was sent early and was leaked online like 4 months before it was released.

That ugly as hell original Macy's album cover.

The album was pushed back like 3 times.

They overlooked clear songs that would have been radio hits.

The songs that were released as singles after the album dropped were given a month before another one was released with literally no promotion or chance for the GP to actually discover them.

wdym yall? im not a sheep and this sentiment is echoed by many people that are part of all fanbases which is why her career went nowehre

 

i mean, she doesn't have her own sound, image, or personality. among all the newer girls, she's easily the least interesting because everything feels so fake and forced, and not in a good way. when you compare her to someone like doja cat, the obvious difference between the two is massive. it's hard for a new act to catch on anyways, but it doesn't help when you're a new act who doesn't know who they are.

It leaked like half a YEAR before it came out.
