Beyonce while pregnant - a praise thread

Whatever we do, somehow we always end up comparing women to each other… seems like patriarchy is strong and thriving still

The STANDARD when it comes to delivering spectacular performances, even when being pregnant. This is not to talk **** about Rihanna, but to praise Beyonce and her otherwordly performance-abilities.

Beyonce live at Glastonbury (ca. 4 months pregnant here)

Beyonce live at Roseland (ca. 4-5 months pregnant here):

Beyonce - Love On Top (live at the VMAs; ca 4-5 months pregnant here)

Beyonce - Love Drought/Sandcastles (live at the Grammys 2017; pregnant with twins in her 6th/7th month)

Shes such a FORCE :jonny5:

You knew exactly what you were doing with this thread and I always had a feeling that you’re sudden praise for Rihanna and RihannaxBeyonce as a union was wholly fake, mostly considering you were always throwing shade at her pre-2017.

Hopefully you continue to have this same energy when the Monsters and whatever other fanbase attacks your fave for no apparent reason (along with racist/sexist micro aggressions that come with it) and especially when it isn’t necessary.

Go **** yourself. :rip:

He knew what he was doing as MOST PEOPLE are trying to point out.

I’m not engaging in any of the mess but her Glastonbury performance is one for the history books

People have such a problem praising people who are truly exceptional but have no issue filling pages and pages of praising mediocre people. Make it make sense

It makes themselves feel better about being unremarkable

Mediocrity is very relatable

Beyoncé is literally the best performer of all time. It’s weird that people can make comparison threads trying to drag Bey but soon as there’s a thread praising Bey, we can’t say anything.

Exactly this, Beyoncé praise bothers people a bit too much and it's weird so yeah she is the goat and we are grateful for her

I ALMOST hate her for how athletic she is, like imagine how physically draining it must be to do everything she does on stage.

She's a madman in a pair of heels I fear:jonny2:

Right.

And now there are some in here wishing for Beyoncé to be attacked with racism and sexism because a fan posted a performance that slayed while she was pregnant. The insecurity.

Not Beyoncé performing pregnant over 5 times and 2/3 of them are some of her best performances ever :jonny6:

Beyoncé is just on another level and even if she did the Halftime while pregnant I’m sure she would put on a show.

People using Rihanna’s pregnancy as an excuse for the mid concert as if it would’ve been much different even if she wasn’t :rip:

comparing and talking about pregnant women bodies. Ya’ll go from worse to worser :deadbanana2:

What's wrong with praising Beyonce for slaying while being pregnant :giraffe:? If your faves can't do the same it's not Bey's fault :swan:

Beyoncé is the standard all female popstars should aspire to be. Everyone looks so damn lazy and tired next to her :deadbanana2:

I find it so funny how Bey is the standard, when she’s literally a psycho. She works 24 hrs in a day. No food, no water, no bathroom breaks. Nothing is stopping her until she gets what she wants. What she will do is perform like her life depends on it. Not a baby, not a humungous belly with twins, not after falling a flight of stairs, not a fan snatching her wig, not self mutilation, nor a broken FOOT is stopping her from getting on that stage. I really wonder what she was doing during the pandemic, I know she was going crazy.

This seems unnecessary given the timing. I know you said it's not meant to shade someone else but this thread can easily get messy even with that mentioned in the OP.

They did it to be messy.

Beyoncé is the greatest performer of all time and deserves to be praised for her talent and hard work. However, it is wrong to praise her talents and hard work only to undermine other women. We all know Beyoncé is exceptional and there is no one who can put a show like her. There probably never will be. The problem right now is timing. The thread was made just a couple of hours after a pregnant woman performed and did not do as well as expected/wanted, and it’s clearly made with intention to show how one woman is better than another. As Rihanna said it, Beyoncé is a beast on another level, but that doesn’t mean that we should use her to degrade others.

If you post about Beyoncé being the greatest performer after Rihanna’s not-so-great performance, what makes you better than Monsters who make threads about Gaga having achievements when Beyoncé is not having the greatest of days?

I'm so mad that I was not an adult during 4 :jonny4: I would kill for her to do a Roseland type revue now

Who cares? Worse things have happened to pop girls on this site. This thread is purely about abilities and talent, not numbers, views or streams. Are we supposed to be having a pity party because…a performer whose job it is to perform didn’t perform well?

This is a celebration of Bey’s talent. That’s it.

Oh please Beyoncé is getting praised by moi every single day every single time

It doesn't take anything for me to praise her and I'll never excuse myself for doing so

This is a Beyoncé praise thread, take the coddling elsewhere

There are countless ACTUALLY negative and loser ass threads about the SB halftime show you could actually give your two cents on

Imagine saying that you shouldn’t get praise for being exceptionally good at your job (probably the best) because a coworker did a bad job or didn’t meet expectations :deadbanana:

Bey is getting her flowers today from me, no matter how insecure it makes other people feel :deadbanana:

Maybe we should start caring and start treating other people with respect and kindness. You’d be surprised how happier we’d all be.

This site is full of toxicity. Today, misogyny has been shown, not only towards Rihanna, but also towards Beyoncé. I’m 100% percent sure Bey would not wanna or praised in this way. She’s a kind human being. And she’d be extremely embarrassed and ashamed of y’all.
