Oh please Beyoncé is getting praised by moi every single day every single time

It doesn't take anything for me to praise her and I'll never excuse myself for doing so

This is a Beyoncé praise thread, take the coddling elsewhere

There are countless ACTUALLY negative and loser ass threads about the SB halftime show you could actually give your two cents on

That thread has been made with intention to compare two woman, and to show how one’s better than another. There is difference

Maybe we should start caring and start treating other people with respect and kindness. You’d be surprised how happier we’d all be.

This site is full of toxicity. Today, misogyny has been shown, not only towards Rihanna, but also towards Beyoncé. I’m 100% percent sure Bey would not wanna or praised in this way. She’s a kind human being. And she’d be extremely embarrassed and ashamed of y’all.

I don’t gaf about any of that **** tbh.

OT: Beyoncé really is one of the greatest to ever do it :jonnycat: 5 varied, athletic, and incredibly layered and complex performances while pregnant. The GOAT.

I just have to disagree I'm sorry.

People have this odd conception of things.

That if someone (in this case Rih) is being criticized for something then

that means that the right thing to do is to avoid praising Beyoncé for being truly exceptional.

Why? Should we refrain from expressing how grateful we are for this woman because it'd hurt people's feelings?  It's ludicrous and childish.

I'm not interested in tearing down any black woman, I am on the other hand very much interested in uplifting Beyoncé's amazingness.

And to do so, I'll grab whatever opportunity that is presented whether you like it or not.

I didn't wait today to speak on her incomparable performance abilities, I didn't wait today to fawn over the incredible and groundbreaking Glastonbury set she did while pregnant. This thread is positive if you choose to see it as negative then you think that Beyoncé praise is underserved or disingenuous.

I had my own expectatipons for Rih and they weren't met, I commented on it and moved on. Now let me appreciate the goat in peace.

Hmmm... the time is not appropriate, Hive. I also saw Jlo's fans posting her performances while she was pregnant but right now is not the time.

OT : Glastonbury is her best festival.

I suppose you have the right to feel that way. However, behavior like that can often result in people being hurt. I’m morally obligated to warn you guys that, even though it’s probably not your intention, this thread and opinions here are how misogyny is able to continue. You may not be hurting Rihanna, because she’ll never read what you said, but in other situations someone certainly would be hurt.

You can express how grateful of that woman you are, yes. There is a line when you are praising that woman only to compare her with another. That you shouldn’t do. You should care about other people’s feelings. If you don’t care about others, no one will care about you either. It’s not about Rihanna’s feelings because she’s rich and living her best life, and she’ll never know what you wrote. It’s about how you treat women (and other people in general). We’ve all been hurt by narratives like this. We shouldn’t regenerate them.

There’s nothing childish about caring about other people’s feelings and wanting to stop the regeneration of patriarchy and misogyny. On the contrary, it’s a very grown up thing do.

I suppose misogyny, as well as racism and homophobia, are positive if you choose them to be. They certainly are positive to people who practice them and believe them to be positive. To people who are affected by them there is nothing positive. And you should always think about people that might find your words and actions negative.

I believe this thread was not about Beyoncé being great, but about misogyny that is deeply rooted in human society. I may be wrong, but I doubt it. I ask you to always think about your words carefully before saying or posting anything. Someone might be hurt.

Beyoncé is the greatest performer, and she’ll always be. Glastonbury is probably her best performance ever, and I wish to see more sets like that in the future. We can talk about how good it is, but we shouldn’t praise her or Jennifer Lopez for having great performances while pregnant when it can be easily understood as an attack at Rihanna, who just performed pregnant.

What the actual hell are you even on about?

What's misogynistic about praising Beyoncé's formidable performances while pregnant?

That's quite literally the opposite. Pregnancy affects women in different ways and that's a fact and pregnancy isn't something one can take lightly. Which adds to how incredible Beyoncé's past perfromances while pregnant first with Blue then with the wins were considering.

I choose to make this thread a positive look back to her incredible performing history which routinely gets dogged on and discredited, on here especially. I do it because this feat deserves all the praise and love it gets and people take it for granted.

If anything a MALE trying to mansplain misogyny to me, a woman is profoundly stupid and misogynistic.

Take a good look at this thread, you made it miserable and negative with your long ass and ridiculous take.

You are really

I didn’t know your gender and I didn’t assume it. If I have been misogynistic in some way, I apologize. Especially since we all (of any gender and of any opinion) can act misogynistic and not even be aware of it. My point about it being wrong still stands.

Just stop trying to police people’s posts, or at least go police them in an appropriate thread where actual harm is being done. We can praise Beyoncé without you calling us misogynistic for it.

OT: Beyoncé is the GOAT. No other artist is ever seeing her on the stage.

Women can definitely be misogynistic toward other women but absolutely nothing about praising Beyoncé for being formiddable is misogynistic to any other woman and if you feel like that it's a you problem.

Why should excellence not be celebrated? This is such a loser mentality I could never subscribe to. I believe in celebrating greatness and the greats while they are here :michael:
