How many #1s does Midnights still have?

Featured Replies

We are currently witnessing Taylor’s pop re-peak in the US.

If Max and Taylor got 3 #1s from 1989, how many more does Jack and Taylor has in the bag for Midnights on the BB100 Chart?

One more with Lana Del Rey expanded vocals version of Snow at the beach

I feel like anything Taylor Swift releases from this point forward would go #1 for at least one week, once she markets it right.

Not the set up from one of our own :noparty:

She likely won’t get another number one from this era. It’s really hard to get a hit for a post album single, and even if she does she would need to release a new version of it (Bad Blood feat Kendrick) or really get the support of radio to take the song and run with it. It could happen twice if Lavender Haze is really given a radio push but I definitely don’t see it happening 3 times this era.

Unless she releases a remix with a high profile feature, none. The album is 3 months old and in the streaming it's hard to get big hits after the album unless it's Watermelon Sugar or SYT.

none. it’s not like she’s going to do the promotion it takes to take a post-album single to #1 :rip:

Uhm, when was the last time a pop artist had multiple Hot 100 #1s for a single era? Only After Hours comes to mind and SYT had the Ariana remix.

Whenever she wants... All it takes are some remixes for Lavander Haze to go #1 per example... 200K pure should be enough

Sour did

Ot: she could have 1 more if she wanted to push LH when it peaks on radio or during eras tour with remixes strategy, minimum 200k sale

None, organically. The album doesn’t have much single material, and it’s telling that not a single track has gone viral on TikTok.

But she can probably do another remix spammage for Lavender Haze and get a quick 1 week #1 during a dead week.

1 if she play her cards right. It will also depend on the competition when she releases.

speak now tv version as demended

ot: antihero cannibalized lavender haze and bejeweled, karma will be DOA and vigilante is only hit potential left but historically she should move on

None, very rarely an album have multiple #1s, especially when the singles are released AFTER the album.

Anti-Hero has been everywhere on Tiktok.

OT: Only Lavender Haze and Karma remix have a small chance.

Hits Different remix, once it's released on streaming and if it has lead single promo

Lavender Haze might still have a chance @ no 1  if taylor released the MV, remixes and push it to #1 on spotify tth!!!!

Hits different can also secure her another #1 if she released it on streaming platforms and promote it harder than anti-hero!!!!

Likely 0.  Having 2 number one hits from a single album is pretty rare these days. Especially for a single released after the album.  I think she might get LH to re-enter the top 10 if she tries, but a number 1 is unlikely.

I’d say she has 2 chances. First if she releases a remix of Lavender Haze or Karma with a feature (similar to the Bad Blood Remix); or second, if she releases “Hits Different” and really, really promotes it, with MV & performances cuz the track is really GP friendly (but we know she won’t do it, especially for a bonus track).
