she’s kind of sounding like Kristen Chenoweth in some parts 

this makes me wonder if she’s gonna play glinda as a golden age diva with the judy 1930’s vocal style instead of leaning towards cat. i feel like there could be a cool stylistic blend between the original film and the musical that could work honestly 

I feel like she’s been filming for 3 years now but I’m happy to hear her voice

I also don't think the movie will be a mega smash hit, but she was gonna take a break from releasing music either way, so atleast now she's dabbling in other things that make her happy

But then again if it does work out then it’s a much bigger contribution to her legacy than just another hit album. It’s worth the gamble. All Oz related films have smashed so far + this is literally the highest grossing musical ever. 
 

I still think there’s a chance for a summer 2023 release ngl. I don’t think she’s ever going to promote her music again(  ) but a release of some sort is definitely pending.

I get your point but I also think it is unlikely. Musical adaptations are bombing left and right for the last decade. The Lion King is the highest grossing musical ever, the original Wizard of Oz is a classic, Oz the Great and Powerful did okay but it wasn't exactly a smash and this will be completely unrelated to those specific movies.
