gaga needs to be weird again

Featured Replies

im tired of her hollywood darling persona. she needs to start acting crazy again. now that the joker is coming is the perfect time to remind people why she was such a phenomenon. and the gp seems to agree now that bloody mary is a hit. somebody glue the bowtie wig to her scalp again and bring weirdga back

I kinda miss the outrageous outfits and wigs, not gonna lie. I can’t tell if it’s just nostalgia for that period of time and album cycles, but I miss the dramatics.  Not saying she has to act like she’s a robot hermaphrodite again, but add just a little spice.

ATRL hated her because of it, and now y'all want that person back? I guess that vitriol was just performative. Damn.

Noup, not this dusty ass forum full of bitter haters tho. :swan:

I feel like firing LaurieAnn Gibson was what started her downfall. she was a major part of what Gaga was the choreography at least.

I would too but the industry and it's taste has changed, idk if it would work in this current climate, the late 2000's/early 2010's are over

no. if she was still doing that she would get the madonna treatment where we all ask if she's tired yet and say she's getting too old for that.

No. She's moved past that. The industry has moved past that.

This is interesting. Maybe it's coincidental but around the time Gaga had problems and then fired Boomback (Judas/EoG), that's the mark where her career started to fluctuate.

Chromatica Ball Ga is as weird as it gets for now and its amazing. She has grown a lot as a person and as an artist + the industry has changed a lot since the late 00s/early 10s.

I do miss early Gaga. She kind of went a little too crazy during the artpop era.

She always needs gimmick to sell.

She was r e a l l y cool, fresh and exciting during this time. It’s not that I’m bored with her current image but it’s just not up to par with what I’m use to with her. Also… wasn’t a fan of hold my hand. It could have been better

Yes, Born This Way and ARTPOP are my favorite eras for a reason... :giraffe:
