I Hear a Symphony is the first non-compilation Supremes album to be certified in the UK.

 

It also didn't produce any hit singles in the UK like the albums before and after it.

 

I would have expected A' Go-Go (with You Can't Hurry Love) or Where Did Our Love Go (with its title track and UK #1 Baby Love) to be certified first.

 

The cert. counts sales from 2012 when the expanded edition was released. It must have sold well.

I just can't believe it got certified before Where Did Our Love Go: 40th Anniversary Edition and A' Go-Go expanded edition. 
 

Sis you need to get into their wider catalogue. There's music for every season. The 70s albums are really underrated too - New Ways But Love Stays, Touch, Right On, High Energy, Mary, Scherrie & Susaye.
