The "West Detroit" bit is the biggest red flag there, everyone can see through that Even if Abdul underperforms he'll probably match what Kamala got which is 95% of the Black vote in Detroit. Michigan doesn't have partisan registration public, so the metric you're referring to is using Trump won counties even though how Michigan voted in 2022 and 2024 is extremely different. I wouldn't look that much into that. I think Abdul will probably bomb with the Jewish vote but it is what it is, he'll make up for it with the Arab vote. The Detroit vote mail returns so far are actually above average compared to the same point last mid term. I don't think overall turnout raises much by November though. Apparently Detroit turnout was 35% in 2022, 39-40% would be good for the baseline.
