taylor already has thousands versions of her album out there already. and is about to go on probably one of the biggest tours of all time. why not just let the smaller artist get another week at #1  let alone a black woman, whos doing it with R&B

 

PLUS, SZA did this trick once. while taylor has done this one two many times already

How is this moving goalposts?  I had no issue when Taylor did this after her album drop to prolong her peak at the top. People are allowed to think it's extra when she's doing it like months later on a week SZA has a chance at breaking a record.

sza wouldn't have done this if taylor's chart-obsessed *** would've never pulled her antics in the first place

Yup  SZA’s album is also actually relevant and cared about by the GP, unlike Midnights which is largely unknown outside of her BTS-like fanbase.

You moved goalposts when you added irrelevant personal qualifiers to make your claims seem objective and unbiased. Perhaps not by you specifically, but Taylor was dragged 9 hours ago for the exact same thing SZA is doing now and that user pointed that out clear as day to anyone with eyes but what are people like you supposed to do? Admit you were being unfair and vindictive? That's far beneath you, I'm sure.

This reminds me of the Navy lashing Taylor's "desperate chart tactics" countless times in the past only for Rihanna to do the exact same thing (if not to an even bigger degree) with her very first comeback  Like people seriously need to stop clutching their pearls over artists and their teams trying to go #1. That's literally their job
