Kpop sales are so fradulent. No one goes from selling 450k to 1.7M in under a year. 4th gen album sales are completely non-representative of popularity like they somewhat used to be.

why do companies keep debuting 6 member groups with choreography formations only made for 5 people? All of IVE's choreo always seems to have one person standing directly behind the center, completely blocked from view

 

same with the original Fearless choreo

Min Heejin has been doing Y2K with 90s Lo-Fi music since the second Gen, sis. And Ditto and Attention are mediocre - please keep those opinions to yourself.

 

Sure RV have the dual red side, but the image of NJ is literally just a continuation of what MHJ has been doing with SNSD, SHINee, f(x) and RV. There’s a reason HYBE paid her millions of dollars to come and recycle her SM concepts for their company.

Can you show me any unpromoted B-sides that are charting right now? Impurities and Hurt were promoted and given at least one music video and Illusion was promoted and a pre-release.

I mean this boiling tea. Wendy even did a quick lil cover of Hype Boy and it sounded way better than the kindergarten struggle vocals on the original.

its because the choreo is all designed for carefully curated recorded performances where they have full control of what people can see, not live audiences

Love Dive isnt going to be the fad here. 4 weeks at #1, 33 weeks top 10 and still #14 currently. Antifragile already on its way out the top 10. Mind you Love Dive had bigger competition. 

 

If we want to discuss fads then we can. 

 

19 weeks: 

Love Dive - 22M (#4, 478M) 

Antifragile - 12M (#9, 342M) 

Savage - 8M (#28, 306M) 

 

And we all know how "Girls" went so no sense in comparing it to "Afterlike".
