Just say you never heard the Pink Fantasy, Pixy, Purple Kiss from this gen, and you only compared her to the big 4... Including SNSD

They just lack core muscle to fully pull of their choreos for now

When they do challenges or have real dancers cover their song, I notice that their choreos suddenly look super cool and popping

they are doing their thing and they are amazing at executing it tbh, any other group would destroy their concept by trying to be „synchronised” and „on point” and making some kind of contest out of every performance

NJWS choreos are about throwback to the early 20s/late 90s. XG's choreo is amazing, but one is not trying to be like the other, and vice versa.

Exactly! XG are the best gg rn in executing the cool girl/ girl crush concept. Like, it feels natural and authentic for them. And I'm glad they have their own niche going on

Yet It's NewJeans choreos that people eat up and are viral everywhere and It's NewJeans who gets praised for having fun and interactive performances with insane footwork and precise execution. That's what happens when have talent and presence and when you set the trend and lead the pack

NJ are focused on ~vibes and that's okay. They're not the best dancers and their choreo doesn't have to be more than it is.

 

Some groups have excellent choreo + dancers (like Itzy, for eg), and that works for them. Diversity is... good! 

NJ are great dancers wth  the OMG choreo alone

right? they are what I thought Baby Monster would be  

 

but I’m happy they are building their brand and their fanbase is steadily growing! which is already a huge feat since they are Japanese - the girls deserve it, they are all so talented!

IVE stan here said Minji can't dance. Have you ever seen Kim Minji mess up choreo, slack off or fall behind other members while executing choreo and performing? She always gives it all and performs with so much energy and charisma. NewJeans does not have a single member that you can claim that "can not dance".

 

Next time look up the meaning of "can't dance" and judge your faves skills before coming for someone.
