To be fair, Hyunjin kind of dislike this "visual position" thing. So he always switch the attention for his members (especially Lee Know), whenever this subject is brought up about him. 

 

I think one of the reasons is that once he explained there was a bunch of trainees that made fun of him when he started his first evaluations and he said his dream was to debut on a relevant main position and treated him as if he was there for visuals only. He felt so small, he started to think It an absurd dream for some time. Obviously, It didn't happen and he plays a big role in many aspects of the group, from dancing and performing to producing some of their most popular tracks. 

 

And the ones who laughed at him probably didn't even debut  karma

Interscope was pretty good for the playlisting.

 

The promo around Pinkchella1 and THE ALBUM was great too. They even gave us a Gaga collab (and did nothing for it when it could have been a cute hit but still).  The BP era was a mess but I blame YG more tbh
