Miss Somi sure knows how to serve energy and stage presence. A Girl Group would be limitling for her so it's great she went solo :clap3:

so who's the biggest 4th gen group in japan right now: Kep1er, Le sserafim or Aespa?

The girls this gen really have it EASY tho with inflated album sales and touring. SNSD was the ONLY gg capable of touring (to some extent KARA too) in 2nd gen, they could have easily done multiple stadium/dome dates in Japan/the rest of Asia but SM limited their touring power to give way to their male acts, misogyny WON I fear

I think it all still comes to demand and Star Factor. If you just don't have it, you can't draw in crowds.

I just hope if we'll get another anniversary cb from the girls. Miss Tiffany should push a proper WORLD tour this time, we need them on the biggest arenas and stadiums around the world :gaycat3:

at the odd eye circle concert, hope they perform a few max & match songs :wanda:

No JP debut, no prominent JP member ( Sorry Miss Giselle ) etc etc. Imagine their potential Stadium/Dome Tour in the future

I see a Touring Force :celestial2:

Congratulations to the US boy group TXT who cant either outsell or out stream the Parisian boy group Stray Kids in the US I guess

Only SKZ, BTS and NJ are charting on Spotify US daily right now with BTS and SKZ never leaving the chart.

Oooook? Both things can be true: moas suck at streaming and giving longevity to songs despite having big debut numbers (see TEMPTATION, it debuted similarly to the latest SKZ album with higher average streams per track despite having less tracks) AND SKZ are an older group, with a bigger core fanbase, with more comebacks per year (KR, JP and all the other additional mixtape/XMAS releases), with more tracks per comeback. it would've been embarassing not to outstream TXT imo.

Of course, you're entitled to your opinion but I still believe they have better performances than SKZ in the US, charts-wise at least: I don't find 3 #1s on BB 200 particularly impressive when they lack longevity, also having 3 total entries on the chart despite the wide discography and the first entry being last year... maybe it was a stock problem pre-2022, I don't know, but I would assume the JYP-proclaimed "next BTS" to perform similarly to BTS without physicals (in 2016 BTS managed to chart Wings on the UK album chart without a Friday release and physicals so it is possible when you have a lot of fans who stream very well on Spotify and Youtube, just like SKZ)

I just think it's nice seeing TXT up here with 3rd gen groups, ENHYPEN and SKZ are behind them but have actually similar stats on BB charts overall, including those that aren't the main ones -- but again, my personal opinion. I love seeing TXT chart and perform better comeback after comeback ever since debut and that's what matters to me as a fan :bird:

My thoughts about the current IT GGs

Leseraffim - Great dancers

ITZY - Great performers

New Jeans - Harmless girls who makes safe music

GIDLE - CAMP

StayC - Gorgeous gorgeous girls

IVE - Wonyoung

She is incredibly gorgeous with blonde/peach/red hair but she looked sooooo good with her natural color :gaycat7:  I admire her consistency though nnnn

The undoubtedly biggest IT Girl of 4th Gen. No shade to IVE  but I feel like her presence overshadows her group too much. A Suzy teas :chick1:

Kepler has two albums certified gold in japan. Wa dada is platinum in japan :cm:

I'm so proud of my allegedly irrelevant favs and their 2-date Tokyo dome concert which once the dust settles will have a higher attendance than entire tours from IVE or Itzy, both groups which KTRL is obsessed with pretending are bigger.

Maybe some of their irrelevancy can rub off on your favs and they can start doing stadiums too. :bird:
