This narrative is so dated. Jihyo serves precision, dynamics and energy. There's just a wide gap when it comes to dancing in Twice so she looks sometimes like she over does it.

No. Compare her dancing to Momo. She serves a lot of energy but with half the precision Momo has. 

The way Irene & Seulgi were giving us details, precision, face, technique, poise and presence

If you're asking to compare Jihyo to someone many pros consider the best female dancer in the kpop industry, she must be pretty high up there. Jihyo is just unserious and will meme, but she's a very competent dancer technically. She is aware that she can be over the top (so what?) Which is why I posted an example of her not on stage hamming it up for a crowd. She has on stage moments when she isn't doing the most too but the reason her antics are charming is because they are still measured and tempered. 3 to 4 years ago she used to get wild and sloppy but now she can keep it locked on a Prime energy setting and still be precise. Specifically her body isolations are very good. I don't know why idols find it so hard to move their hips and have flexibility in their backs.
