Oh, from what I understand is that there is a thread for Blackpink, but they still hold much of the conversation in the K-pop thread.. not surprised. :giraffe:

Right now? that's amazing considering their last comeback is almost half a year ago. :clap3:When you bring me a girl group that can match Blackpink's presence on global Spotify, Youtube, social media, etc. Then you might have an argument about there being a girl group as popular Blackpink, let alone more. :ducky:

Not right now. Right now half of the 4th generation is running a train on them and it’s been that way since lsg fell off. I was talking about general chart history. :flower3:

For a group with 4 members and a grand total of one competent singer and one competent dancer and zero originality though 2nd place in some but not all of the world is extremely impressive. Congrats black pink

You sound very mad about Blackpink's mega-success :chick3: I do not like some groups but I wouldn't go as far as dismissing their talent, it's not a good look, your bitterness is showing.

Melon Daily Chart

7. Charlie Puth - I Don’t Think That I Like Her

32. Charlie Puth - Dangerously

45. Charlie Puth - That’s Hilarious

The way he outcharted Korean Pop Boy in Melon :gaycat6:

I swear Dangerously was released like 6/7 years ago. What happened :rip:

His songs always manage to go viral on Korean TikTok somehow.:cm: IDTTILH was even #1 on Tiktok Korea weekly chart a few weeks ago

i mean... BTS and EXO are clearly on different levels

anyways, remind me of the aespa/itzy/TWICE situation

ITZY a SMASH because sneakers was a success

aespa FLOPPED despite bside being on par with sneakers, GIRLS underperformance

TWICE smash because 1.7mil!!!!!!!

Twice have more number one than both aespa and Itzy combined and they’re much bigger overall :cm: I think y’all should stick to Itzy vs Aespa

:bibliahh:

The fact that they are also coming for Jimin’s YouTube views when he literally surpassed over 10M views in under 24 hours organically without ads :deadbanana2:No SM artist can do that.
People need to be a little more objective in here cause I don’t stan BTS like that, but their numbers washes everyone else’s.

Everything above the 100 sections was never put for sale on night 2.

With how many of the seats just weren't ever for sale on night 2, it's very likely day 1 of aespa's 7 song setlist showcase had more attendees than Itzy's world tour stop. Max capacity is 6,000 and Itzy failed to reach that. :bunny:

staticImage?type=png&systemId=HOST

The number given in the link is only a figure given by the company for these articles after a concert that is amost never completely accurate. The final number will be 1k-2k above or below that. Even if we take that number as accurate, it doesn't really make sense because as you said the seats in the upper levels weren't for sale on day 2. So around 40-50% of the total number of seats weren't available for day 2. If we assume that the group filled every seat that was available the total attendance number for both days together will come to around 9-9.5k.

>With how many of the seats just weren't ever for sale on night 2, it's very likely day 1 of aespa's 7 song setlist showcase had more attendees than Itzy's world

I'm sorry but I don't understand the reason you've given here.

> Max capacity is 6,000 and Itzy failed to reach that. :bunny:

While the official capacity given by the venue is 6,000, the actual number of seats available inside the venue will mostly be less than that. This is true for almost all concert venues. You'll have to try really hard to find a concert that had an attendance of 6,000 in Youtube theater. Lil Nas X and Rosalia also performed in this venue last year and these are their attendance numbers,

https://twitter.com/touringdata/status/1592979633364152321?s=20

https://twitter.com/touringdata/status/1591207670412779521?s=20

Lil Nas X: 10,633 (100%) - $965,426 (2 shows) around 5,316  per show

Rosalia: 11,699 (100%) - $1,450,359 (2 shows) around 5,874 per show

And these are the attendace number of Itzy's concert from the same venue:

https://twitter.com/touringdata/status/1598792369062543360?s=20

Itzy: $772,638 - 5,742 (100%)

In the one show they had in the venue 5,742 people attended.

The number of tickets available will always be different by some number for each concert.

So, we can't always say that an act failed to fill a venue by looking at it's official capacity. Though I wouldn't surprised if some seats were actually empty like in  most concerts of different artists whether that may be Lil Nas X, Rosalia, Aespa or even BTS and Twice for whatever reason it may be, either the ticket's unsold or  because of scalpers or someone not being able to make it to the concert.

TWICE smash because 1.7mil!!!!!!!

The way I have never seen you write anything positive ever??? Like don’t you stan aespa or NewJennies??? Why do you never mention them instead of mentioning and being obsessed with TWICE 24/7???  Like imagine claiming to “hate someone”  but then thinking about them every single day even more than your so called “faves” :rip: Btw, I don’t think I have ever seen you mention NewJennies ever except for when you hide behind them for fan wars: “well my faves are NewJeans and they are more popular than TWICE right now”, but I never see you actually discussing the members of either NewJennies or aespa?? Like what’s favorite song from them and who are your favorite members, like let’s start from there :toofunny2:

The way y’all go on about Sneakers you would think it was a smash when it was just a minor hit with poor longevity and zero staying power.

I get that it was their first (last) hit in awhile but let’s not make it out to be what it wasn’t.
