They were doing well on Spotify. It’s just that Bm And teddy bear clearly didn’t resonate with international Stans. At the end of the day Stayc were always marketed as “local” group. I don’t think BEP care.

Now compare how "Afterlike" performed on the charts compared to "Girls" because im sure the gap is bigger than the 100k for album sales. 

 

at one point, aespa's GIRLS is the best selling album by a GG (and it all happened in 2022)

but erased in 2022

Aespa’s the only fourth gen female group with an era above 2M album equivalents and we’re almost five years into fourth gen. Care to explain why a group that got erased is the only one to do it? 
 

IVE won’t be hitting that mark until their first full album and fourth physical release, NewJeans will probably do it with their third physical and who knows if/when the other girls will even manage it.

Spotify recently announced that their Discovery Mode is just glorified payola and they’ve been taking higher cuts of the royalties from labels to Autoplay their music since 2020. Imagine calling something fraudulent to then defend YouTube and Spotify. You girls are so far removed from the real world sometimes
