doesn’t change the fact that Holocaust was one of the biggest genoicide in the world’s history and she wore symbol of the people who were behind it publicly on a multiple occasions - she didn’t recognize „tilted swastika”, but apparently she knew who the man on the tshirt is, what were his beliefs and that he’s not Asian and not Buddhist? 

 

you want to have a point with the BM situation but trying to downplay the wrongdoing of Chaeyoung  you know how many people died because of Holocaust? kids included? or is your fake outrage only a weapon against Blinks and YG (as if it concers BP in any way lol)?

I honestly thought it'd be Jungkook to have a solo first before any of them. 

Are we ever going to have the same worldwide anticipation and success as BP's solos again? with how each solo broke records (even jisoo before it's released) it's kinda insane how each girl group member holds this much power individually. i don't think we ever had a group like that, truly the best of all time.

It takes a single google search for "Sid Vicious t-shirt" to find thousands of intentionally offensive designs on sale at retailers, some even from established brands. I've seen several people call her a neo-nazi, and the fact that you once again, chose to quote me, the person who was indirectly responding to a blink calling her a tryhard dumbass wannabe punk(which does imply intentionality), instead of the person who said that is very telling of your intentions. So miss me with this. It's giving obsession.

A t-shirt is not an endorsement of any ideology. That symbol can be offensive, especially with people who were directly affected by the holocaust still alive, and she absolutely needed to apologize once she found out what the shirt meant. I never denied that, what I said is that it wasn't as deep as some of you are making it out to be. Again, a t-shirt is not an endorsement of any ideology, it's a t-shirt. The symbol itself being put on display in public is offensive and that's as deep as it goes.

The only reason my post even mentioned Blinks is because it's Blinks who keep bringing up Chaeyoung here everytime the conversation swings in a direction they don't like. I find it really interesting that Chaeyoung's scandal became a major global news story but after all this media coverage, none of them have accused it of being a serious hate gesture and instead ran with the story as an insane fashion faux pas. I haven't even seen tons of her stans who look up to her being personally offended either despite the usual immense backlash from fans when an idol messes up bc of their expected role-model behavior. 

 

The only people I've seen accuse Chaeyoung of any serious/intentional wrongdoing are stans of rival girl groups(mainly Blinks, but also a few Mys). I'm not the fake outraged person here.
