Last night felt like a dream we used to pray for times like this. Im so proud of her like i'll never turn my back on this woman ever.

  • #1 (+52) on US iTunes + ESV is #6 (+144)   I hope it will revive the era

this is so crazy :hoetenks: not it doing more than x2 Anti-hero and Easy on me and it seems the gap is getting even bigger everyday. We truly never see something that smashes on this level on a global scale since possibly, Despacito in 2017

I’ve updated the Spotify thread with full update and week on week comparison, I won’t post in this thread anymore but if you’re interested in tracking the song you can see the posts in the OP of the Spotify thread.

Another excellent update and extremely strong retention from last week’s enormous numbers.

Edit; as in I won’t be posting the streaming breakdowns in this thread anymore, lol. I’ll still be posting in general.

THE STOMPERY :jonny:

the video used to be potato quality on 1080p but they fixed it, now it's proper 1080p. they even added 4k

you see when there's demand they deliver

Idk if the song will maintain these kinds of numbers still in two weeks time but I forecast that this will have its biggest streaming day on valentines day!

I hope it's still doing massive numbers by then so valentines day can give it that extra push.

Hope Columbia is putting together a valentine's day campaign for this :eli:

The stars really did align with this, didn’t they? A massive pop star with cross-generational appeal, coming off the back of an image-rebuilding album campaign, a highly publicised breakup back story, relatable lyrics with a catchy melody & production with a cross-genre appeal… released at the peak of social media’s influence over streaming.

The song perfectly taps in to the nostalgia of the peak disco era, whilst still sounding current. Her distinct vocals lend itself to pop, country, rock and that helps her appeal to so many more people. The empowering message behind the song speaks to so many people. It’s a song that pretty much everyone can listen to and relate to or enjoy, that’s why it’s such a storming success.

This really has felt like a moment in pop culture. It’s like the entire world stopped to listen to this song, I can’t remember the last time a release became a pop culture phenomenon almost overnight like this. It’s been years. Such a joy to watch all of this unfold.

Not to mention it’s a visually & aesthetically pleasing era so far! Like.. just about *everything* is perfect. It’s all come together and they’ve got lightning in a bottle. I’m so excited to see how she carries this theme and aesthetic through the rest of the album.

Whenever another payola thread is made

We love an ORGANIC hit :ahh:

Yes! I can see the album cover being one of the iconic images that people will always remember from these years in music
