Drake's recent output may not be everyone's cup of tea but albums like Take Care, Thank Me Later and So Far Gone still sound fresh. Much of his music doesn't sound dated at all, that's why damn near all of his albums have yet to leave the charts. CLB was his most redundant/samey album to date, but the rest of his discography sound wise is pretty versatile and timeless. The GP keeps his hits from as far back as 2011 in heavy rotation. There's a reason for that.

 

Justin Bieber's music however, as much as I enjoyed much of his past outputs, sounds dated. His purpose album (which I enjoyed for nostalgic purposes) very much sounds like a product of its time.

It's true. Watching the TUN clip for its 4 year anniversary was cringe, I can't believe we were all hyped for THAT
