a lot of people were. People in general have trouble adapting to change. Until 2015 everyone just bought albums on iTunes or as CD’s. Streaming became a massive success later on and taylor knew that eventually it would hurt her career if she didnt adapt along to the new technological innovations in music consumption. Her power on streaming just showcases that how no matter what format she sells, she will still be at the top.

That’s weird, some girls tried telling me that the lack of a lead single for midnights meant that there was no hype and everyone had moved on from listening to her.

This is something remarkable, if Rihanna would had had a similar boost with Super Bowl announcement  it would had deserved a thread too, unfortunately her discography had only a tiny boost

She only did .6M more than the previous day? She did 36.4 on Thursday and then 37 on Friday. How is that something remarkable?!?! Plus, She’s been around 35M all week. I will say that watching her rise as the album approaches has been kinda cool, but this didn’t need to be a thread

Shes truly beloved. Something truly shifted after the release of Folklore and more so after Red tv.

I fear Midnights will intensify that even more. With that tour coming she will truly be more unstoppable.
