Never got the hate for Slay Slay Slay. Does it sound like a jingle? Yes. But it's still a fun song. 

I have a feeling it will be. But on the other hand, do her albums ever truly disappoint? Her albums are never bad.

Are you comparing Red to Lover? Seriously?  Red is among Her very best albums and Lover is... Lover.

 

Red is also better than Fearless and Speak now, so that part doesn’t even make sense. Delete this silly thread.

it's gonna be Lover 2.0, so

Lover and Red sound consistent to me

it seems like she’s going to a more pop direction which is exciting after the borefest of evermore. it won’t be a dud because she’s finally breaking from the boring forest witch image she’s had for 2 years. in terms of public perception, yeah, this era feels like a nonevent so far
