I mean it is possible she can have a cute peak like fergie when she released milf money. I dont think she needs mainstream sucess again. When she releases good music like Harleys in Hawaii she can have a hit soon or later.

If she can overcome the voodoo spell, yes. 

I think she can still get a hit or 2 but she should focus on making a high quality album first. Katy problem is a image/branding issue. 

The term repeak is used too often on here. I think she will have success again, just not TD or even OOTB level. 

We live in a tik tok era where any good  song can go viral. Can happen for Katy if she has a right song right time moment

Katy will never repeak because she’s a relic of the early 2010s, and she was reliant on working with Dr. Luke for her hits. I’ll give Katy credit, that she had to have some talent in order to make those songs work. Because, we know from Kim Petras, that slapping the abuser’s name on your production doesn’t guarantee even breaking the chart, much less a hit.

 

I respect Katy for having the decency unlike some of her peers to not work with morally repulsive people in the industry.

Yep, that's also what I was thinking of. Katy is worth hundreds of millions of dollars and continues to earn huge amounts regularly, she can afford to make high-budget and high-quality videos for her fans even if the returns aren't too high.

No, her peak was pretty conspicuous. Re-peaking is out of the picture.

 

I can see two scenarios where she can get a smash: big soundtrack lead single written for her i.e. Love Me Like You Do (hopefully written by queen of the clouds herself), or releasing a catchy party/dancefloor song like On The Floor/Cheap Thrills/Believe.

Repeak as in a whole era I don’t think so. But I definitely do believe she can have another hit song, but it has to be the RIGHT pop song. Something instantly catchy and infectious
