She has completely lost it.

This (and The One) are hot stinking garbage. She has proven she is now incapable of making good music.

At least she has two classics (Arular and KALA)

Really cannot take her seriously anymore now she’s a born again Christian :doc:

At least the production here is better. Her vocals are annoying though, and I just feel she doesn't have much to say any more :biblio:

Make that three, considering Maya is her best album :gaycat:

What is this? Her new material made ma appreciate XXXO  :rip:

i would have expected a harder moombahton beat from diplo this deep into his career. what is this??? sounds like something that woulda gotten cut form AIM, and that's her worst album. :weeps:

bring back munchi and blaqstarr! i could see her working well with someone from principe records too. she needs to make something challenging again.

I was liking it until the beat drop came, sounds like one of those cheap Major Lazer productions but at least it has some personality and it's not as bland as her previous single.

She really lost her spark :monkey: I agree the instrumental doesn’t help the song at all, Diplo did her dirty but at least her vocal delivery is better than on The One

Sounds like a Matangi partysquad reject but I like it :michael: And the M.A.I stuff is fun, looking forward to what she does with it.

I really hope she's worked with Switch again this era. And her stuff with blaqstarr is always interesting even if it misses, and judging by what we've heard so far we could use something a bit more interesting :rip:

I mean it's better than The One, a cute bop, but I don't imgine it will have much longevity for me.

the video is cool. also this M.AI personality has a verified twitter account lol we’ll see how far this goes although MIA kills MAI at the end of the video i wonder if that means something more than just “i’m over the social media / industry popularity bs”

Yeah.. I don’t think she was ever as musically talented as I used to think she was.

This has made me even more nervous about listening to it. This whole saga of her career is just… sad especially after that Patreon mess. Maybe she was always this way or maybe she just lost her way but I really miss songs like Borders, Bad Girls, Bucky Done Gun, Freedun, XXXO and others.

I think I’m going through the same realization and as a fan it’s just kind of sad.

Edit: Okay song alone feels… unfinished, but the video is a cool concept it’s intriguing at least!

It's a cool bop but yeah very generic (I mean it's Diplo). Still interested in what she's tryna bring this era though everything has been confusing so far lol. Give me more OHMNI 2020s sonically speaking

what in the 2012 mess is going on here?

I love me some MIA- Go off, atTENTion, bad girls, it takes a muscle stays in my playlist.

This seems like something that would have been tolerated back in 2012 when we had all that bad music we cringe about now:psyduck:

Besides the nightmare I will have...the video DOES make it slightly more digestible based on the layered artistic message.

I still don't mess with the song but I get the message she's aiming for with the visuals and she's RIGHT.
