Normally I’m all for celebs clapping back on Twitter but she wasn’t even @‘d and she’s not nearly active enough on social for this to be how she behaves when she does come online. Release some music *****.

she thinks she has rihanna level clapbacks but her "clapbacks" always end up backfiring with everyone dragging her in the quotes

She can use her break to be part of stan twitter part time we love her again. Can't wait for her next debut single

Why do we care about two random Twitter users again?  Is Kenzi a pop girl I don’t know yet? 

She had the opportunity of a thousand lifetimes handed to her on a silver platter; fame, fortune, a career making art at the highest level, and she wasted it all and has no one to blame but herself. It's been THREE years since "Motivation". FOUR years since "Love Lies". In that time she has released two singles. Her interest in her recording career is clearly minimal and lashing out at people online who didn't even @ her isn't going to change that. I'm over it. Her career is over, that mythical album is never coming out. It's sad but true. Good luck with Candy Painting or whatever that imaginary single is supposed to be called.

The downside to the Beyonce effect and her clones is that all those girls now think they are in a phase of their careers where they can do cultural resets. Beyonce built that ability and legacy over YEARS and had mainstream HITS before she ever attempted risky career moves. Normani is trying to reset a culture she has yet to even make a dent in, it doesnt make sense.

 

SZA recently sad she's rethinking her album now because RENAISSANCE freed her from sonic and musical chains, but girl, Bey is in a space to do that, most are not.

At least SZA has a (modern classic) album out and an album's worth of collabs since including a smash last year, and she can also debut a solo single in the Top 10. She is annoying with her endless delays and lies but at least she already has a solid fanbase and at the very least she already kinda made her mark and it makes sense for her to wait until her sophomore album is perfect. She will have an audience no matter what. Normani wasted years doing nothing while her hype withered away.

The twitter user didn't lie at all. You see the other girls working their asses off, releasing music, posting TikToks, making small gigs, booking awards even without an album out... and then there's Normani thinking she's the new Beyoncé by releasing a boring R&B jam per year and even calling them "cultural resets". Also offended when award shows pay dust on giving her noms.

Normani definitely has a habit of searching her name on Twitter. She blocked me ages ago for saying she’s not a very good live singer and I didn’t even @ her  I even said she’s a good performer in the same tweet! 

 

Anyway, I just leave her be. I know her Mother has cancer and who knows what else she’s dealing with.
