At least SZA has a (modern classic) album out and an album's worth of collabs since including a smash last year, and she can also debut a solo single in the Top 10. She is annoying with her endless delays and lies but at least she already has a solid fanbase and at the very least she already kinda made her mark and it makes sense for her to wait until her sophomore album is perfect. She will have an audience no matter what. Normani wasted years doing nothing while her hype withered away.

yeah her album already solidified her a fanbase and a seat at the R&B table. Normani should take notes but Ctrl also wasn't a smooth release at allll so maybe she can turn it around with quality but that's if the album even sees the light of day at this point

She's going to go down as one of those artists that missed their window of opportunity for a successful fruitful music career and just fade into oblivion. I was rooting for her but that's just her prophecy at this point. Regardless of who's to blame.

I’m done defending her ass, she deserves all the drags. I don’t even care about the music anymore she can keep it, her lie about us getting the album this summer and the summer is almost over was the last straw

To be honest, she could had been successful if she had 1/10 of the drive for success Beyoncé had during her early days. I feel like in order for me to like an artist, they have to be passionate about what they do. 25 years into Beyoncé’s career, and you can still hear and feel how much passion BEYONCE pours into her music. Calling this narcissist the new BEYONCÉ is such an insult to Beyoncé’s work ethnic, love and passion for music/art. Like Beyoncé has 3 kids and she still took time to record 3 albums in 2 years + plus alot of upcoming visual movies. That’s what you do when you truly love WHAT YOU DO and grateful for it; It just comes very naturally!

I just know she's reading all the replies from her stans replying "OMGGG QUEEN END THEM" smiling and thinking to herself "yeah I ate that" I hate her so much

she needs to stop searching herself on the internet, it's getting weird

She needs to release her album before people lose interest in her. She has so much potential that isn't being used.

she's getting ratio'd so much on twitter these days, it's actually hilarious - the girls are tired

Those two accounts didn't @ her, but she follows them so she probably saw it while scrolling her timeline and decided to respond.

I've been rooting for her, but I'm on the side of the fans here. I might not agree with how mean they're being but the frustration is justified. People like Chloe, Megan, Tinashe, even SZA have been open about having label issues so it's easier for fans to understand the delays. Normani literally has had countless interviews saying the music is coming "soon" even as recent as this past May when she said "this summer would be lit." And now we have about a month left of summer with no indication that she's coming. She says things to get hopes up, goes ghost and then pops up all normal like people aren't wondering what's going on. People keep saying blame RCA or management, but it seems like they let her drop with no issue (i.e.: Fair, but I could be wrong.)

So yeah, the pile on from non-fans on Twitter is a lot, but I understand the fans frustration. She doesn't have to spill all the tea, but all it takes is a little transparency. :michael:
