Stop telling your fans that music is coming this summer for the past 4 summers. Either drop the album or move onto other ventures at this rate. Go do acting or broadway.

how are you bringing in checks today?

All her fans want is for her to confirm whether or not new music is on the way. :rip: if she just tweeted “no music this month due to reasons out of my control I can’t discuss at this time” everyone would be on her side

just release a goddamn nice tune. the most basic posible, hire the trendy producer, and release something

I dont know how labels work or anything but what does she do with her time? just release something, anything.

hell and if she can't release then become a dancer, or a dance coach or the judge of one of these dancing shows

do something

she has the right to say it.

but idk what exactly these people thought they were gonna get from normani

Lmaoooo

Recording one song per month is it that hard for this girl? She could put one album out by doing that consistently for two years.

McDonald’s needs to shut off their wifi if this how their employees spend their time while they’re on break. Attacking LGBT people on the internet when there’s burgers that need to be flipped. Embarrassing behavior from the former fifth harmony dancer. Are we disappointed @Smarticle

Normani just ISN'T that girl Black Twitter and social media hype her up to be. She wants to be Beyonce and doesn't want to put in work to have a Beyonce-like career, never forget that during the first week of Wild Side's release that Cardi was doing more promotion than Normani was for the song, that right there tells you all you need to know. :skull:

I just know she's reading all the replies from her stans replying "OMGGG QUEEN END THEM" smiling and thinking to herself "yeah I ate that" I hate her so much

:bibliahh:

ot: all those drags are justified! :bam:

social media is not for her. cause its always embarassing when you respond like this to randos that aren't even tagging you

ok maybe recording artist is not in the cards. maybe she needs a career switch.

lol I like Mani but these Gen Z era artists gon' learn about this social media game. It is ultimately not beneficial to their image or careers so they need to ignore trolls. Everything don't need a response. I wonder how many of the older artists would've come undone if social media existed back in the day. People in the arts can be very sensitive.

She's clearly not interested in being an artist. Her fans should have peeped that by now and diverted their attention to other artists or continue keeping up with Normani, the influencer.

She had Beyonce, Rih, Cardi B, Nicki all these black celebrities hyping her up, frankly because she was an upcoming black artist in a way they were never hyped up themselves, they’ve had to really earn that hype with solo hits, while she was in a group. And yet, she did nothing, absolutely nothing, with it. She released a mediocre dance song that was saved by a fantastic video then waited for a year to let the hype die down and released a bunch of mediocre songs.

The problem with these artists is that they follow a bunch of fans on twitter and those fans hype them up like crazy and act like everything they do is a literal masterpiece, so it naturally goes in their heads, so when she sees bad criticism, she’s more likely to respond like this. Especially when it’s a clearly touchy subject on her part.

I think artists nowadays have trouble separating their (real) selves from themselves as a brand/celebrity, which is probably a consequence of artists nowadays adopting "relatable and authentic" personas and being active on social media

Whereas artists of the past understood that the brand is a separate entity and were more inaccessible so in a way it was easier to not take criticism personally or too seriously (compared to artists today at least)

Did you post a tweet here? I'm not seeing anything.

OT: Normani is over. Her window of success has passed, there was some demand but she blew it. :sadviolin:

EGGzactly! I think it's perfectly fine to leave some mystery. Artists and entertainers probably have more differences in lifestyle and expectations than similarities with the average working joe anyway. None of them are that damn "relatable" when we look at the fine print.

Right??? She wrote ‘culture reset’ in her caption like she’s dropping the follow-up to Lemonade and thought this was enough to catapult her into worldwide superstardom :rip: This girl is delusional and has zero work ethic
