There was a time (2013) when some singers (kelly clarkson for ex) used to trash miley but in the last years a lot of respected legends have collaborated/complimented her. Not only singers but also actors.

 

Is she respected now?

She's been in the spotlight since she was what, 12? And she was known before as Billy's daughter, I think older legends feel proud of her because she's grown up becoming a talented woman. 

She's extremely talented and always appears very humble and down to earth and like a joy to work and be around with. An angel tbh. 

She also did many covers of iconic songs and did most of them justice.

She's an artist and a performer who loves and breathes what she does + has the talent to back it up, what is there not to love?

Because she's actually talented and has versatility and performing chops. Not everyone has that!

She’s going the kstew route and has been redeeming herself artistically for the last decade. We all know 2013 was just an act to break out of Disney

She’s been successful in this industry for a very long time, she’s basically a veteran at this point. (Also her public image within the past few years has gotten significantly better + even when she is “provocative” everything has basically been normalised so she doesn’t shock anyone anymore) 

she's one of the few nepotism babies that's proven she's actually talented and deserves to be in the spotlight.

She is talented, she is a nice person and she isn’t a threaten (legends usually don’t like younger artist who are more successful than them, not all obviously)

Having had so many troubled teen stars never come back from that bad place and so many people rooting for your downfall kinda makes you immune once you've proven yourself to not only prove everyone wrong but also having carves out a unique lane for yourself. When all is said and done Miley Cyrus will be a legend in her own right.

Not sure, she seems like a nightmare to be around with and has a nasty attitude.

 

Maybe it’s just PR to turn around the 2013 mess.
