It was simply too ahead of its time for some people. At the time, it was laughed at. If released today, this song would've been laughed with, and it would've gone #1.

It's so good, one of the only songs from that album that I still replay.

Way too ahead of its time (and Kim was kind of having a moment there for those looking for a “real” female rapper). If nothing else the video remains fabulous and iconic, and the verses are a total slay.
