Sis, SNSD outsold groups like SuJu and BigBang, that's like EXO and BTS in this day and age, and TWICE never touched those groups' sales, that's what i am talking about. Ofc 3rd gen is bigger internationally, thanks to 2nd gen and their impact. There are so many iconic groups on the 2nd gen, whereas only four or five groups of the 3rd gen seem to be more influent and representing of the genre.

honestly feels like there was probably a very real conversation between HYBE and BTS about their future, the company's future, how the boys aren't into the idol life anymore, how the boys don't really *need* the company to be successful in their own endeavors, how the company wants to focus more on TXT and ENHYPEN, etc.

I don’t think they are declining. Perhaps have plateaued for the time being. I think they have a few more peaks left in them, the question is if they want to reach them or not.

Also, Jennie just seems so sick of being an idol both physically and emotionally.
She’s been doing literally NOTHING for two years. However, Instead of getting excited to perform in front of her fans again, she’s already dread the next two years. It’s not her fault since her body is very fragile and she isn’t really made to be an idol. 
 

After an extensive two years of promoting and touring, the probability  of her resigning is very slim unless they let her choose her own scheduled, which probably is once every two years

 

The other three girls will easily resign. Jisoo might negotiate the deal that allows her to focus more on acting!

BTS has been very active as a group actually, it's just not apparent to casual because it's touring so unless you're a fan you're not seeing much stuff. Same for TWICE.

I'll say let's just wait for the Spotify numbers instead.

 

I personally prefer Run BTS to be the TT instead but YTC was understandably chosen as the farewell gifts to Army for now (ala Flower Road/Still Life, can't think of better examples for that) due to them reaching enlistment and most of them start showing signs to settle down and venture something else on their personal live.

@BTS so any of the demos/alternate versions worth a listen?
