Erm TWICE have sold 10M albums alone in SK/Japan, so idk what this delusion is

THE ALBUM is a million seller yeh, but they're at ~3M domestically and like 2.5M in China I guess (idk about QQ numbers) 

 

They're flops now but that doesn't detract the fact that they were massive at their peak and carried the GG industry for years after SNSD flopped

Hyuna is only big on YouTube she really doesn’t do numbers. Taeyeon’s biggest hit probably outstreamed most of discography combined tbh.

i mean we decided who had the hits internationally back in the day with youtube 

physicals were things from SK and Japan 

and no one touched Hyuna on youtube until Taeyeon came with I 

but Taeyeon's reign was short

 

now on Spotify era she is doing big numbers with Im Not Cool and Ping Pong

people have been saying this since like 2017 that if BP keeps releasing once per year everyone's going to unstan them yet they keep reaching new peaks and gaining new both casual and die-hard fans despite their long hiatuses

+ in 2020 when they were releasing singles almost monthly, each new single performed worse than the previous one (HYLT > Ice Cream > Lovesick Girls in terms of global success) well at least Lovesick Girls was a smash in Korea

YG sees it's working so why would they release constantly
