I don't know why you're taking it so personal. A lot of people do that on ATRL. Trolls in general do that. If 6 people call you a troll within 3 pages then there's probably some truth to it.

Also, is being a notable member of this thread or anywhere on ATRL really something to be proud of? 

"I" was K-pop's most anticipated debut, of course it would be massive. But was no surprise to me when that hype died, I already predicted this in 2016/2017.
Taeyeon and IU music/image arent what people looking for in kpop, they dont have that pop diva "thing"

 

Until 2019 the first day reception of their songs were almost the same, but IU's songs were catchier bringing better longevity. Look at the releases from both after 2017, some hags can disagree, but the chorus on IU songs are more memorable... I'm not talking exactly about "quality."
BBIBBI, Blueming, even the one that I hate aka Celebrity are much more memorable than something like Happy, WCDICY, Sparks and even the very good Something New.
Now Taeyeon released songs like INVU and Weekend and got better results, pleasing her past followers (who want her pop diva moments) and new kpop fans. Meanwhile IU got her first failure in years Strawberry Moon.

But the biggest truth that no one talks about is that Hyuna was the biggest 2ndgen girl int. She was that girl who dominate the entire decade, and she still here doing great (I'm Not Cool and Ping Pong). IU and Taeyeon arent nothing compared to her imo
Sunmi or Chungha could be something like Hyuna, but didnt happen in the end
