Sabrina Carpenter (born May 11, 1999) is an American singer and actress. She rose to prominence while starring in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World (2014–2017), and began her music career under Hollywood Records. She saw moderate success as a teen pop artist, with the singles "Thumbs", "Why" and "Sue Me" receiving RIAA certifications.
 

Carpenter later signed with Island Records and released her fifth studio album Emails I Can't Send (2022). The single "Nonsense" became a viral hit, and its follow-up "Feather" charted as her first top-forty entry on the Billboard Hot 100. Carpenter saw breakthrough success with her sixth studio album Short n' Sweet (2024), as its singles "Espresso" and "Please Please Please" both topped the Billboard Global 200.

only really came to sabrina last year with the emails album and feather and have recently gone thru the emotions with espresso, from "great, she's getting her due!" to "i am bored of people who have no interest in her doing podcasts about why this song is the sound of the summer" to "ok this is a bop and i just need to lean into stanning a perma #1 song now", the key cycle of a hit record
