damn this is a good rendition and she sounds good tbh

ariana occupying the top 3 with the three TU,N singles was a huge moment. she was the first soloist to ever do it and the first artist since beatles (like in over 50 years or so). she held the culture with the TU,N era and was the "it girl". taylor occupying the entire top 10 (midnights) was also a huge moment. she was the first artist to ever do it. fueled her "pop comeback" moment even further and was a display of her strong / continued / increased commercial success. it's always iconic when it's the first time. with ttpd and showgirl, it kind of became expected due to taylor's constant commercial dominance (sales, streams, touring, spinoff media (eras tour movie, merch, book, doc, etc)), so yeah i assume it was a big moment for the swifties but imo, not as iconic / special as the first time with midnights.

i love midnights. i dont play tracks from it as much now but i was obsessed with it at a time.

that if a movie / show / concert recording was airing, i could punch through the tv screen, go "into" the tv, and be a part of whatever was airing, talk to the people / celebs in it, be next to them. as if it was happening "inside" my tv and in real time. it was a very short-term thought / notion and i kinda knew subconsciously that it was unrealistic but it was fun to think. edir: not a crazy thing about any famous person / celeb in specific but thought it correlated to the topic (or maybe not wtv).

marijuana should be a single. one of my favs from prima. it is very radio (catchy, easy to listen to / digest / gp favourable) and just has that 2010s windows down on an evening / late night drive vibe. i'd love an extended version.

tbh none is surprising to me. maybe because i know that some of their biggest songs peaked at #2 / #3 / top 5 on the H100. but yeah, gp wise or for people who don't look into / keep up with the charts, they'd think that songs like bad romance / paparazzi and pitusa / we can't stop went #1 just cause they feel big in that way due to their longevity.

i LOVE this performance. it actually got me into listening to the lover album (i'd only listened to the singles before that point). it also led me to watch the lover concert special back when it was on hulu during the pandemic. i really liked it! it continues to be one of my fav taylor swift albums. i was just watching the last kiss x i love you, i'm sorry mashup (another fav), and this woman and her guitar together are a spectacle! it reminded me of the cornelia street performance.

i know she's going on tour but hopefully they have her do some tv / award show / other kinds of live performances. they need to go the olivia rodrigo sour / ariana grande my everything way in terms of promo.

raye, sabrina, reneé rapp, madison, adela, chappell roan, zara larsson, olivia dean, tyla (not necessary that all of them make / do vocally demanding / showy songs but they do have the pipes or potential if the vocals have not been witnessed through their music as much. in no particular order and i'm not saying they're all on the same level, vocally, or that all of them have showcased it by belting or such)

this has some solid tracks. it's a great record. i can't believe this is her EIGHTH (!) album? didn't know she's been around for that long but then again no wonder, cause i have been aware of her name for a couple of years now. kudos to her for keeping at it and going! and it's great she has started receiving more recognition, praise, and love! might be like a sabrina trajectory
