Her brands suck. SavageX is one of the worst brands I've ever seen. From the name to the logo, designs, their whole branding is ASS. Idk how she thinks anybody who wants to look somewhat cool would want Savage X Fenty written on their bodies. WHY the **** is the brand name giving capsule line collab between two separate entities called Savage and Fenty??? This ****'s gonna be on actual clothes forever like???

 

Don't think Fenty Skin is making big money either. They haven't had a hit product since maybe Fat Water. And she's fully ruining FB as well with the gimmicky products, taky packaging, weird DIY ads and cheap aesthetics overall. I haven't seen one person wear the Puma **** she made. I'd be surprised if the businesses were doing great honestly.

Agreed, and also the quality is giving Shein. I ordered from them twice years ago when it was first blowing up and was genuinely shocked at the quality, fit etc. The designs are indeed pretty ugly but I didn't care so much at the time as it was Rihanna.

 

Can't speak too much for the beauty brands, most stuff (fashion wise) she has released this decade has been absolute ass. 

 

Idk if ya'll remember but her Dior Sunglasses collab was so fresh, and so was the Fenty Puma the Trainer. 

 

I also wonder what would of been had she focused on the Fenty Maison.. looking back its kinda sad to see her take the easier route and slap her name on disposable brands like Savage & FB etc. She really could of built a timeless legacy with that had she not dabbed in so many ventures at the time

This was more about the haters than actually what happened

You're either too young or a hater trying to hype her up. Because Rih has never been huge. She is slow and steady hit maker.

 

I think I came to terms with reality as it is, which is that this lady will never be as active musically as she once was. New album or no album. Even if her net worth drops again below the billionaire status, she's just beyond set for life at this point. That she's basically in charge of herself and doesn't have someone to push her concerning deadlines etc doesn't help with finalizing the album. I think eventually people will move on, the undeniable hits will be streamed because people love them, but literally people get tired. She's never been one to depend on a large fanbase to please and appease and so I don't think her or her team care a lot if the stans are disgruntled and exhausted. I think it's fair to say she's put her music career on the back burner for way longer than she ought to, even if her marketability isn't going to be affected and she'll still be able to sell product, the natural process of people moving on is bound to happen. The lazy excuse of a soundtrack she released is beneath her and taints her discography, and break or no break there's no reason it should have ever been conceived let alone seen the light of day. Rihanna was an important part of my growing up, of course I'll still be a fan, but I am actually good at this point and understand if she just doesn't want to dedicate herself to music and would rather just focus on businesses and family, just please don't play in our faces and release **** like Friend of Mine.

I absolutely loved the early Puma stuff, some Fenty Maison pieces and the Dior shades. Everything she touched was so tasteful then. I still wear my Off Record shades from Fenty Maison quite often and people always compliment on them lol. Fenty Beauty completely changed since the launch as well. Everything was done so elegantly and now they put fruit emojis and **** on the packaging of the products.

 

Unlike most here I was somewhat interested in her business endeavours and I wanted them to go to a certain route and she completely took the opposite. I expect to hear of SavageX stores shutting down soon tbh. Hopefully. Tacky ass stores. I walked past the Skims store in 5th Ave yesterday and everything looked so good and made me wanna interact with the brand and I'm not even their target audience nor I like Kim Kardashian. She should take notes honestly.

I agree completely with everything here sis. She was kinda imperial from like 2016-2021 (fashion and business wise). Even the Savage shows were fun to watch despite not being a huge fan myself.

 

She was making brands from Kylie & Kim look tacky but now it's kinda the opposite   

 

 

I just listened to this unreleased for the first time in years and it actually made me sad. I often forget about her unreleased, but listening to them is like listening to something new from her to fill the void of 9 years without music 😭 

 

So sad to think about the force she would've continued to have in music if she kept releasing regularly. Her voice and tone is everything. I can only imagine how amazing all the scrapped R9 reggae album songs are that we may never hear.
